Open Embrace house, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Open Embrace was designed by American design team Lisa Ekle and Keith Greenwald. Building Trust and Habitat for Humanity Cambodia financed and built the project providing a home to a homeless family currently living outside the hospital in Phnom Penh. The house is one of three new prototypes that respond to flooding and give a level of choice and flexibility to local familes and NGO's working in the region. Open Embrace is part of a bigger strategy for sustainable low-cost housing in the region as we continue to work with local partners to create more homes.
