Design + Build Workshop - Italy - May 2026

 

Building Trust International are thrilled to share details of our latest design + build workshop taking place in Italy this May. We are happy to announce we will be working alongside Semplicemente, an Italian volunteer organization formed by people with disabilities who promote inclusion, autonomy and respect for the environment through collective and creative activities. 

Semplicemente has launched the project “Voglio una Casa” (I Want a Home) and is collaborating with BTi to research and develop a sustainable, environmentally and economically accessible housing solution.

The workshop will focus on the design and construction of a small, replicable residential prototype, built using sustainable materials and participatory processes. For two weeks, volunteers from around the world will work side by side with local professionals and people with disabilities in a deeply inclusive, community-based experience.
