This year we are going to run the breadth of the UK, along the historic Roman remains of Hadrian's Wall, covering approximately 110 km. This challenge is not just about pushing our limits; it’s about making a real difference. Our target this year is to raise £10000, 100% of which will go towards the materials to build a new school to support the education of children displaced and marginalised by war.

Edinburgh Marathon 2026

Enjoy a fantastic all-encompassing route which takes in some of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks as well as offering picturesque views along the East Lothian coastline. If you join team Building Trust International for the 2026 Edinburgh Marathon you will get to run 26.2 miles from the city centre of the capital of Scotland to the scenic coastline of Musselburgh. You can alternatively join the team and sign up to run shorter distances such as 5K or 10K. Check out the Edinburgh Marathon Festival website for more information.
