Design + Build Workshop - Italy - May/June 2026

The workshop offer a theoretical and practical introduction to the use of natural construction materials, such as bamboo, wood and earth.
Together, we will create a full-scale architectural prototype, experimenting with various green building techniques:
a reciprocal roof, lightweight earth wall with earth and lime plaster, reed roofing and a green roof.
The prototype will be exhibited during Genoa Design Week and subsequently placed in the green area of Pegli, is support of Semplicemente's associations activities.
Suggested donation 40€ per day
Please note due to the charitable nature of the work we and our partners do, we encourage people to fundraise the costs. Our dedicated workshop participants often surpass their program donation goals. Any excess donations go directly to supporting Building Trust international initiatives in the country where your workshop was held as well as programs worldwide.
